Circle of Hope - Donation Based Trauma Informed Yoga

A grassroots movement intended to bring healing, resilience, and hope to all who are or have been impacted by trauma.

Circles of Hope Classes are donation based & confidential classes that marry a more traditional supportive, group sharing experience with that of more “classical”, trauma informed yoga class that is specifically designed to be sensitive towards those individuals that have experienced trauma or have struggled with its’ effects.

Hosted at Alignment 8 Yoga + Cycle
every 2nd Monday of the month at 1:00pm
and every 3rd Sunday at 3pm.

The suggested donation is $10 and we encourage all individuals to pay what they can afford, be it less or more.

Healing is Possible.
All are always welcome.

Vinyasa Flow Moon Salutations - Chandra Namaskar

Moon Salutations, or Chandra Namaskar, is a receptive, meditative and cooling practice intended to help you release the energy you no longer need and create a calm and restoring nature back to your body, mind, and breath.
This Vinyasa Style practice will encompass mind, body, and spirit – beginning with a guided meditation and moving into our Moon Salutations sequence. Practice will end with a 10 minute Savasana. While students rest and reflect, a smudging ceremony using Clary and White Sage will be performed – intended to fend off negative energies and create blessings, healing, and purification.
Chandra Namaskar aids you in channelizing the lunar energy; which has cool, relaxing, and creative qualities. Chandra Namaskar also stretches the spine, hamstrings, and backs of legs; strengthens leg, arm, back, and stomach muscles.
The moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past, and creatively unlock and express our essence.
All levels welcome.
