Keri joined the A8 team back in September 2014. Right away A8 felt like home! So much so that when presented with the opportunity to buy Alignment8 there were no hesitations – she could not bear to see the doors close! So, with the support of her husband James, they took the reins as owners and have been investing into the growth of A8 since March 1st, 2015.
Keri is certified as a Maddogg Spinning Instructor, Trained in Vinyasa Yoga (RYT-200), and is TRX Qualified and looks forward to additional trainings through these accredited fitness programs to continue her education and develop her skills as an instructor. She is also certified in PiYO and Turbo Kick from Beachbody and has attained her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from CMU.
Sarah Nelson – RYT-200

Hobbies: hiking, biking, spending time with nature, growing things, making things with my hands.
Sarah instructs a variety of Forrest Yoga inspired classes including Yoga for Cyclists, Sun Salutations, and Forrest Yoga and Forrest Yoga Foundations.
Sarah enjoys having the opportunity to share a practice that means so much to her and has had such a huge impact on her life.

The goal of my classes is to create a safe space for others to find a connection deep within themselves and tap into their own inner power and peace. As a teacher, I encourage my students to go deeper, to feel, and be curious – about what their body can do, how it communicates, what its limitations are, and how to find ease in a place of difficulty. My classes build foundations for strength and help to create more space in both the body and the mind. I use creative and intelligent sequencing to guide my students in learning how to make new shapes with their bodies in a way that is challenging and fun!”

Currently a student at MSU studying human biology and nutritional sciences, Lily enjoys bringing the energy (and fun, of course) to each class to give clients that spinning “high” we all want to feel afterwards. Being an athlete for most of her life, Lily loved the intensity that came with Spinning® and was immediately hooked. She decided to get certified through Mad Dogg Athletics® in the fall of 2015 to help bring that intensity to every class and motivate clients at A8 that they are strong enough to power through and add that extra gear!

Hobbies: I love being active and outdoors with my 2 young daughters. Our family loves to travel and explore new places together. One of our favorite family activities to do when we return to my husbands native England is cycling trails.
Spinning was a great way for me to enjoy the benefits of our hobby but have a little ‘me time’. This love lead to an easy decision to get certified and share this new passion with others.

An Analytical Chemist with a passion for fitness. Cristi is a certified Spinning Instructor with a BS in Chemistry from Saginaw Valley State University as well as an MS degree in Project Management from Grantham University. After a successful health transformation and weight loss journey, she fell in love with the Spinning program and knew she wanted to teach! She found that the positive energy and vibe from other people with a desire to stay active is who she wants to be surrounded by every day! Cristi loves spending her free time running, biking, swimming, or taking her adorable dogs on long walks down the rail trail!

Lisa fell in love and became addicted to spinning just 2 short years ago!!! She loved it so much she became Certified, and a Week later found herself teaching!!! It was natural to her and Lisa felt an instant connection to helping others and craved the intensity of a Spinning Class. She loved the challenge, the sweat, and how it transformed her post baby body.
Hailing from the Forest of Northern Saskatchewan, Canada, Lisa Grew up with a passion an EXTREME love for all Sports!! She played Broomball, Hockey, Badminton, and Baseball her Entire life. Her intensity, enthusiasm, and skill took her to Provincial and National Levels competing from coast to coast throughout Canada.
Lisa brings excitement, laughter. intensity, and an extreme amount of encouragement to every single class. She will help you to reach any fitness goal you set and Strive to be your absolute BEST in her spinning class!!!!

Jennifer’s hobbies include Camping, reading, playing with her pooch, nerd stuff such as watching Star Trek & of course, practicing yoga!
Jennifer’s signature class is Vinyasa+, a fusion of gentle vinyasa flow ending with restorative poses to help your body unwind from the day and restore nourishment for mind, body, and spirit.

Kelly is a certified Turbo Kick Instructor with a BS in Health Science and Psychology degree from Saginaw Valley State University as well as an MSA degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University. Her love of fitness originated from taking her very first turbo class over 5 years ago, which makes her very excited to bring Turbo to A8! In her free time she enjoys traveling, going to the beach and spending time with her boyfriend, John and their daughter Emery.
